The best advice i ever heard for Arthritis
This one sucks to have……
Hey!
This is the second to last article in my series
This week is all about pinched nerves or nerve compression in the back and neck.
What I mean by a pinched nerve is that the nerve is being compressed by something in one of three places.
In the spinal cord, as it exits the spine or along its path down your arm or leg.
They can happen suddenly or can progress over time.
When they happen suddenly it is very painful. Can be so painful you are 10/10 down in pain. Unable to do anything or you notice that your strength is lacking. It is harder to open jars or lift your legs up.
These two things are classic for a pinched nerve. They can happen on their own or together. So, you might have pain from the pinched nerve without weakness or both.
NB: IF you experience a sudden drastic loss of strength or function. Do not wait. Go see a doctor immediately. Especially if it happens so your legs or arms are so weak you cannot lift them up.
What should you do if you think you have a pinched nerve? Go get help.
Go see your doctor or come see me. This is something you cannot address using DIY methods or articles on the internet.
This kind of problem gets progressively worse over time and does not get better with mothers’ great advice.
You might feel that it’s not that bad right now, maybe you have forgotten what it was like last time….
You need a Professional.
Ok…… Fine….
You do not want to go right now. You first want to see how it goes, if it’s not better in a few days maybe you will do something about it?

Ok, let me tell you what I would do if I could not get help straight away.
First, I would get myself in a warm bath. Soak in the hot water. It might not fix my problem but at least I will feel better being warm and relaxed.
Ask your Spouse or girl/boyfriend to massage where it hurts.
Again, will not fix your problem but it will be relaxing, feel nice and maybe you can fall asleep a bit, so you are not up all night suffering.
Then the first thing in the morning you need to take yourself to someone to address your pinched nerve.
This is not something that will get better on its own.
Ok, that is it.
IF you are ready to do something about your pinched nerve then
