PAIN! 6 Reasons why you still aren’t better
It is a scary thing when you aren’t where you want to be. These reasons might be the Why
You are still waiting to see if you will get better has only been a couple of days, or weeks has it? Maybe in a few days, it will start feeling better like all the times before.
Or it has been several months of I will wait until next week and see what happens. What has happened? If you are reading this, then probably it has either stayed awfully bad or gotten progressively worse.
Do you think it is time to think about getting help? Find out what is happening and why.It is not bad enough… yet. The reason you might not feel you should get help is that it’s not bad enough. It could be only slightly uncomfortable right now.
Today it is probably ok. You can manage. Your spouse’s massages seem to help.
We both know that it could strike again at any time if it is not dealt with right the first time. Do you want to wait until it is so bad that you are now desperate? Desperate people make bad decisions.
Do not be that person that regrets a bad choice because you were desperate. You have forgotten how bad it was been a couple days to a few weeks after your pain put you in bed and you could not get out of it. But it calmed…. Somewhat.
It’s manageable if the pain pills keep working. IF…
It is not that bad, you tell yourself. I think you need to be reminded why you got the painkillers in the first place. The pain came out of nowhere. It might have been your back and you could not walk. Now you can walk, well sort of.
I do not think you want to go back there. Why wait to see if you will? You are still hoping the pills will work
It makes sense. The pills were given to you for a reason.
Let me just ask you, how many times have you had your pills refilled? Have you gone back to be put on stronger pain killers, and they have not helped? Or maybe they work too well. They put you to sleep and you not in pain because you are sleeping.
Is that really the life you want to have? One that you need to take pills just makes it through the day.You might have started to realize that these pain killers have side effects. Side effects you want to avoid.
Do you not think it is time to address the problem not the symptom and get you off those pills? Here is a link to our blog on why those pills could be making things worse and not better

You needed a few more to get you all the way there. Then life got in the way. You are feeling so good that it is no longer important to finish the treatment program.
That is maybe why it came back. The program was not finished.6. You are not doing what you are supposed toThe Physiotherapist said that you need to exercise a few times a week, avoid sitting too long and sit and stand with good posture.
Have you been following the advice?
If not, I think now is the time to start. There is no time like the present to make your life better. Do what you remember they said. If you cannot, call your physiotherapist and ask them what you should be doing.
If none of these methods has worked and you tired of hoping that next week it might be better, then Physiotherapy is usually the best solution for people just like you.
