I wish people would not wait until they needed a miracle.

Sometimes waiting for something to happen is not the best solution

Hey all

This week I want to talk about something that concerns me.

Many of the people that come to me take so long before they do something about their pain.

Years go by of “Next week it will be better”, and it has not.

Months of “I have all these other things I need to do first before I come in”.

Weeks of “Today isn’t so bad.” Last week it was so bad and then a week before that. It is OK today, but it keeps returning. So the cycle continues.

As the weeks, months and years go by a simple problem as a muscle spasm complicates.

The muscles pull on the body. That changes the way the body moves and works. Next, a pinched nerve starts to develop.

That pinched nerve makes the way your body moves even more abnormal, so more muscle spasms develop.

They start with taking one pill because today is bad. One when they need it turns into several every day. Now they find themselves in a position where they cannot even make it through the day without taking pills.

They depend on them. This makes Them dependent on them.

The damage done to their bodies by taking those pills for years starts to add up. Now their liver is irreparably damaged, and they have more than one stomach ulcer.
But people still putting off getting the right kind of help for your pain.

They go to a specialist that offers them are the surgery option. They would never have taken it a year ago, but now they are desperate to get the help that even a 1% chance of success they will take, thinking they will be in the 1%.

Then when people finally call, after years of pain and suffering have gone by. Multiple operations later. A simple problem that is easy to fix is now extremely complicated.
It might not even be possible to fix it at that point.
They want me to perform a miracle.

“Why did they wait until you needed a miracle?” I ask myself.

Why are you still waiting to get help?
