Hello

This is a terrifying thought for most people. For your headache to get so bad that you land up in hospital.

Our clients who used to have headaches told us many times abouthow it got so badthat they were forced to go to the emergency room prior to them coming to see us.

I wanted to look at the research so you can find outhow likely you will end up in hospitalif you do not fix your headache.

Let’s look at a study I found.

The study name is “Headache frequency among 71,267 admissions to an adult medical emergency in the city of Recife in 2021”

In this study they wanted “To verify the frequency of patients with headache disorders among those with pain admitted to the emergency department of a private hospital in Recife, Brazil, during the year 2021”.

They found that “There were 71,267 consultations in 2021 using 2,296 different ICDs. Of these, the Headache (CEFALEIA) ICD was the 7th most frequent (n= 2,121) behind the following ICD Respiratory infection”.

As you can see from here it is the7thmost common reason for people going to the emergency room.

Of which most who end up in hospital are women.

You are more likely to end up in the emergency room for your headaches if:

  1. You have gone to the emergency room once already

  2. You experienced numbness or tingling sensation

  3. Blurred vision

  4. Sensitivity to light

  5. A history of severe headaches in the past

Do you want to have to keep going to the emergency room for your headaches?

Or do you want to try something different?
