This week I am going to tell you the 3 of the worst ways to manage Headaches. Some of them you might have never heard of before
Not drinking enough water
Do you have any idea how common it is for the cause of headaches to be dehydration?
Like extremely common. Dehydration is the reason we feel like death with a pounding headache after a hard night of partying and drinking.
I think it is made worse by how we live these days. We drink all kinds of things that have water in them but not water. We drink coke, coffee fruit juice and all types of cold drinks.
Drinking some of those will dehydrate you even more.
Just drink plain old water.
Not dealing with what is stressing you out.
Ever heard of a stress headache?
I bet you have. Most people don’t realise that we reason we are stressed is that we choose not to take action to address events that we can do something about.
We instead either choose to do nothing or convince ourselves that it is out of our control and there is nothing we can do.
So our problems mount and so does our stress. This causes us to have a terrible headache that may feel like a migraine that just gets worse with more stress.
Wait another week to see if it’ll get better.
This is the right move when it is the first time you had knee pain or something like that. For headaches it isn’t when it has been around a long time, seems to keep coming back, every time worse than the last.
If you have tried everything including waiting to see if it will get better, Waiting some more before you get professional help will not work.
Did waiting longer to find out where that smell is coming from making it better?
